John entered the real estate industry at the age of 21 years old. At the age of 23, John was one of the youngest Real Estate Brokers in Wyoming.
He immediately became distinguished as one of the Top Agents in the city and was a multi-million dollar producer. In his first year in real estate, John achieved the #3 sales agent spot in the largest real estate firm in the state of Wyoming.
Within two years John moved to RE/Max. A move very rarely attempted by rookies. However John was up to the challenge. He soon became the top agent at RE/Max Properties of Cheyenne. Over the next 5 years he remained one of the top agents in the city.
In the fall of 1996, John made a trip to Memphis, TN to visit his Grandfather and fell in love with the Memphis area. Soon after being back from his trip he packed up and moved to Memphis. Within the first year in Memphis John’s sales experience, work ethic and shear determination helped him rank in the Top 100 real estate agents in the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. He is currently in the top 1% of over 3,000 agents in Memphis.
Since 2003, he has consistantly ranked in the "Top 10" of all RE/Max agents in the state of Tennessee. By 2004 John was inducted into the RE/Max Hall of Fame. Only 1% of all RE/Max agents ever achieve this life time recognition award for sales volume. Then in 2009 he worked his way up to be the #1 RE/Max Agent in the state of Tennessee.
By the end of 2009 John purchased the RE/Max Elite office and is using his skills of marketing and sales to drive the company. By the end of 2009, RE/Max Elite had become the #1 office in Memphis based on average agent production. RE/Max Elite agents agents now average over 3X as many sales compared to the average Memphis agent.
