Bartlett, Tennessee, with a 2010 population of 54,613 was founded in 1829 and originally named Union Depot. With less than 100 residents, the town incorporated in 1866 and changed the name to Bartlett in honor of nearby planter, Major Gabriel Bartlett. Today the town is a thriving suburb of Memphis that draws residents for the great schools, good neighborhoods and low crime.
